Sales Executive Position (Independent Contractor)
The Sales Executive Position is an independent contractor position with POC Magazine. Sales Executive will report directly to the publisher to ensure that the strategic needs and goals of the company are met.
The Sales Executive Responsibilities include selling all inventory platforms for POC Magazine including
Magazine advertisement placement, website advertising placement, special events sponsorships.
Must be able to work independently
Develop new leads through cold calling, emails, text.
Handling RFP's (request for proposals), insertion orders, editorial credits, client communication and preparing competitive reports
Minimum of 4 appointments per week on phone or in-person
Provides excellent customer service to prospects and current clients over the phone and in person.
Represents POC Magazine in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Passion for advertising sales
Must have an entrepreneur spirit
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extremely computer savvy with the ability to master sales systems
Candidate should be smart, motivated, personable, detail-oriented and be able to multitask.
